I loved the book but the cover bothers me. First off a rangers cloak is not dark red. second off she is holding the bow string wrong. I hate it when they give a third party responsibilty for the cover art for some books because most of them never read the book. but an amazing book. I've ready every single series he has written and they all are so unique.

Shred through the book in a day, after awaiting it for months. Filled with all the detailed battles, colorful characters, and sardonic dialogue you could hope for. Oh, and the lovely Skandians I never tire of seeing. An excellent conclusion of the arc, though I wonder, hope, and yearn for more of Maddie's tale as a Ranger. If you love the series, a definite read.
