About this ebook

In this coming-of-age tale witness the experiences and adventures that transform a simple country boy into the world's greatest hero. Told through the course of four seasons in the Man of Steel's adolescent life, it illustrates that it is the person, not the powers, that makes Superman a hero. The catalyst for the "Smallville" television program, SUPERMAN FOR ALL SEASONS is emotional and insightful, humanizing the alien from another planet so that he is not only realistic but also relatable. It also features in-depth characterizations of Lana Lang, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane and the Kents. This volume collects SUPERMAN: FOR ALL SEASONS #1-4.

I really enjoyed this!☺ It makes me wish this version of Superman personality was more mainstream in movies, shows, and videogames. A Superman that when he kisses his girl it is cute and sweet instead of a big make out or sex scene. A Superman that doesn't look at himself as above, or better then anyone really. He is just a guy doing his part. A guy who would go to church on sunday. And always spend the Holidays with his folks and Lana in Smallville. A guy worth having your kids lookup to. Also I wish he ended up with this version of Lana Lang instead of Lois Lane. It would be nice to see Superman stick to one girl and that girl is his first sweetheart who has similar values. I never got the idea that Lois the career woman who would date Lex Luthor was a good fit for Superman. It's not believable that Superman could be himself and comfortable with someone like Lois.

This story really breaks down the core elements of Superman and gives reader's a whole new perspective on him at the same time with the concept of having parts take place over different seasons with different perspectives too.

It is such a cute comic. It makes Superman an innocent lovable hero. He doesn't punch anything here, he simply helps. The art adds to the feeling of the story. It is well written and really brings out the human aspect of Superman. Amazing.
