About this ebook

Life was better in the old days. Or was it?

That’s the question Greg Heffley is asking as his town voluntarily unplugs and goes electronics-free. But modern life has its conveniences, and Greg isn’t cut out for an old-fashioned world.

With tension building inside and outside the Heffley home, will Greg find a way to survive? Or is going “old school” just too hard for a kid like Greg?

Okay, so Greg is still in middle school. By my count, this is his fourth year. But I don't really care, because this is supposed to be timeless. Anyway, this book is okay. It has the humor and addictive nature that the rest of the books have, but the plot drags it down. The narrative is very unfocused, and the "Old School" title (and premise) suggest the opposite of the blur of Grandpa moving into Greg's house, the school camp trip, Greg's smart homework buddy, and the tech-free weekend. But I've seen worse

I am 20 years old and I enjoy these books. They are a great mix between a comic and a novel. But it is sad when I look at the reviews that are written on here. A lot of these reviews are obviously written by children, probably from the ages of 10 to 14 and the vast majority of them can't even speak proper English. If you are a adult like me and are on here writing a review the way you speak on the street, grow up, you should know better. And if you are a child or a teenager, learn to speak properly.

I know what happens at the beginning. it starts when they set up a lemonade stand. nobody barely bought it. there was a other kid doing a lemonade stand. that made them look like some fools. he got all the money-the other kid.-) then the gardener planters came. they ruined it and made it look like a junk yard
