About this ebook

Greg Heffley and his family are getting out of town.

With the cold weather and the stress of the approaching holiday season, the Heffleys decide to escape to a tropical island resort for some much-needed rest and relaxation. A few days in paradise should do wonders for Greg and his frazzled family.

But the Heffleys soon discover that paradise isn't everything it's cracked up to be. Sun poisoning, stomach troubles, and venomous critters all threaten to ruin the family's vacation. Can their trip be saved, or will this island getaway end in disaster?

The Diary of a Wimpy kid series hasn't been so pretty with "Double Down" being a big disappointment, I read the free sample of this book and I'm worried it's not gonna be very good The last Diary of a Wimpy Kid book that I fully enjoyed was "The Long Haul" and this book feels like it's just trying to be as good as it, It feels like a complete ripoff word for word. I'm not sure what I'm gonna feel when I'm finished reading it, but when I do, I'll update this. So far, this is a 4/10 (Better than "Double Down" which is a 3/10) This is so far my third least favourite book from the series Here's from worst to best Double Down The Last Straw The Getaway Hard Luck Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Ugly Truth Rodrick Rules Dog Days The Third Wheel Old School (The Second Half Only) Cabin Fever The Long Haul

I feel a connection with Greg and Mr. Kinney because I am the oldest of four kids and sometimes my sister's can act like Rodrick and Manny and the only way I get away from it all is reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series so I can't wait till it comes out

I love Diary of a Wimpy Kid books when I was younger, but I CAN'T HELP to notice that there are just TOO MANY parts where the author decided to CAPITALIZE the words in his book. It's hard to look past in my opinion.
