About this ebook

Sergeant Lindsay Boxer tackles an ambitious case that spans San Francisco, L.A., and Chicago in this pulse-pounding thriller of "smart characters" and "shocking twists" (Lisa Gardner, #1 New York Times bestselling author).
Three victims, three bullets, three cities. The shooters' aim is as fearsomely precise as their target selection. When Lindsay realizes that the fallen men and women excel in a lucrative, criminal activity, she leads the charge in the manhunt for the killers. As the casualty list expands, fear and fascination with this suspicious shooting gallery galvanizes the country.
The victims were no angels, but are the shooters villains . . . or heroes?

I love how people either give credit or criticism to only James Patterson on all the books his name is attached to. It's like people don't realize that he didn't actually write this book. He proofed it. Maxine Paetro is the real author here, yet gets no credit. Maybe she doesn't care as long as she's getting the benjamins? As for the this story, like all the stories that came before, it's suspenseful without being very deep. Entertaining, but not mind blowing.

I have read Patterson for more than 20 years now. I just devoured books 12-20 and this one just wasn't good. Without ruining anything, it just seemed that he gave up on this book. Seriously. You'll see.

I loved this book, brought my love of crime novels back. Mr. Patterson is a very talented crime novelist and I've set a goal to read all of his books.
