... this is literally a TWD ripoff in my eyes... I feel it doesn't fit in the sonic universe, just everything about this comic is just off and not appealing... especially as a sonic fan, at this point it feels like idw is just using random fanfics to tell stories, I'm very disappointed in Sega and idw for allowing this. sorry it's gonna be a 'nope' for me.

SPOILERS: You know, when I was finished with the vol. 4 compilation, I thought the whole infestation-Arc would be finished with the last issue of vol. 5, but I was wrong; anyways, This compilation introduces the sweetest, little girl in the Sonic-world ...as well as two more characters from the Game Boy Advance-era or rather, to be precis: four in total(I don't want to spoil who they are). I give this compilation a 4/5 star. I would have given it a bit higher, but I just can't believe how "the self-declared, ultimate character in the entire Sonic-series" was written off so early in the arc… why? Also, that semi-important children's map is gone(issue #18). This is all I wanted to say about this compilation, see you in the next review-section. Bye-bye now. :)

There is finally something that challenges the main character both mentally and physically. It’s a real page-turner. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a real good read.
