Synopsis

Ratings and reviews

This is a very strong introduction into what can only be an outstanding series by Helen Hardt. I think she is such a versatile author as she has written the perfect historical romance series (Sex and the Season) and she can switch gears so fluidly with a cowboy romance. I found myself rooting for these characters, some that we will see again: wanting to see peace where there was chaos, understanding where there was confusion, and of course love where there were many obstacles. Dusty and Zach have a sizzling attraction and the heat of their romance abounds through out the story. There is never a dull moment in Tempting Dusty. Her masterful storytelling allows Helen Hardt to transport her readers wherever the action taking place is located. In this book we are at a rodeo full of bronc busting, barrel jumping, and of course bull riding. I completely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys modern romance with a sexy edge.

I love Dusty, she's a sweet thing who has a heart of gold. I like how Dusty and Zach knew each other when they were younger and reunite many years later. I also love how the book ends for them! I actually read all of these books aside from Maria The Bay's mother. I will eventually. I liked a lot Sam and his one night stand with Sydney. And hope that ended. Dusty is important in just about all these books.

Got the book free with the purchase of surrender. And absolutely love it. It's a little slow at first but once you get into the story you can't quit reading it. Will defiantly be purchasing the next book!
