About this ebook

Enter the dark side of romance that New York Times bestselling author Penelope Sky does oh so well. Captured by her brother’s enemy, London becomes a pawn in Crewe’s game. But the pair can’t deny the sizzling hot attraction between them. Get ready for your next obsession!

Joseph Ingram made the mistake of stealing from me—four million dollars. He took my intelligence without paying for it. And thought he could get away with it.

Think again.

Now I’ll take something from him—something irreplaceable.

His sister.

Collateral.

But even when Joseph doubles the amount of money he owes me, I don’t give her up.

Nope. I have an image to maintain.

So I keep her.

And I’m not giving her up.

Only managed a few chapters. This is the most ridiculous plot I've come across in this genre. What woman would flirt with a creepy, sadistic rapist after being held captive for a matter of days? Even Stockholm Syndrome takes a bit longer to kick in. This made me downright uncomfortable!

read the sample. it has the same sort of power struggling going on, and strong wealthy characters like the buttons series. A little interaction with bones and a mention of crow... so another rich player in the world of criminal activities and a pull towards a woman taken... maybe worth a read if it links a little of the the other characters from the other books. just hope it not the same story and repetition of words and scenarios already seen in buttons series.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to be attracted to a rapist, kidnapper, and slave owner. This is sick. I feel nothing, but revulsion to the male lead. Officially never reading anything from this author again. A very sick and twisted view on abuse of women in all forms.
