Artan Murray grants a "dying " man's wish and fetches Cecily from the lowlands to return to his holding. These two battle a family determined to steal her inheritance, each one have a bit of stubbornness and their feelings which develop to love. Always enjoy this author's tales of the Murray family which immerses the reader into Scotland of long ago with a twist of humor. Ebook from Netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

This is a full novel not just a few chapters and I enjoyed it immensely.
