About this ebook

The New York Times bestselling author offers “absolutely everything a reader could want in a book: action, sex, craziness, passion, lunacy and . . . humor” (Fresh Fiction).

The trouble with humans is that they’re far too sensitive. Forget you put a woman in the local jail for a few months—and she takes it so personally! And yet she is the one trying to assassinate the queen. And now I’m trapped with Elina Shestakova of the Black Bear Riders of the Midnight . . . gods! That endless name!

But what am I to do? I am Celyn the Charming with direct orders from my queen to protect this unforgiving female.

Even more shocking, this unforgiving female is completely unimpressed by me. How is that even possible? But I know what I want and, for the moment, I want her. And I’m sure that she, like all females, will learn to adore me. How could she not when I am just so damn charming?

I wasn’t aware I needed Celyn’s story, but oh wow, did I ever need his story! This had so much fun in it, with both of our leads a little clueless, but a lot smart. And a lot of family around for more added drama along with that fun. The next generation of royals, not just the twins and our witch, are around providing chaos on par with their parents and aunts and uncles. Loved it from the moment it started to the very end!

I can't put into words how much I loved this book! I couldn't put it down, I couldn't stop laughing out loud. I felt like I waited so long for this but to come out and it was well worth the wait. This book had all the wonderful dragons and humans you loved from the previous stories which made the books so funny and now their children. You must read all of the dragon series in order to not miss a thing. This was a wonderful read.

If this is the first Dragon kin book you are planning on reading. Stop. Go and read the others first. this book is a continuation of the story. I love the characters and the authors sense of humour. Not as good as her first books in the series, (loved the first 4 books best) possibly a 4&half stars vs five, but still loved it. You can't go wrong reading G A Aiken/Shelley Laurenston books for entertainment.
