I love this book, it's so entertaining! mapleshade is definitely one of my top favorite cats. the story is amazing!

I used to think of Mapleshade as cold hearted and evil but after reading this I understand what she did and see her in a new light . I feel bad for the she-cat. She felt betrayed and did what she thought was best for her kits. She killed those cats because she thought it was what starclan and her kits wanted . In my opinion those cats deserved to die along with Reedshine..that probably sounds harsh but its my opinion.

Definitely not the best Warriors book I read but it was okay. Mapleshade should've gotten a super edition instead so we could learn more about her past and have a better development of her character since Mapleshade didn't have too much development at all in this novella. The things I did like about this novella was the main plot of Mapleshade trying to avenge the death of her kits. I liked the descriptions of the setting that was going on. Overall, the book was okay at best.
