Ratings and reviews

This particular volume (I also have the older one) contains all five Hitchhiker's novels. Good in a way until you consider the series peaked with "Life, the Universe, and Everything." I'm giving it four stars mainly because it's a convenient and economical way to get the first three books. But if I were reviewing the other two alone, I'd say 2 at best for the fourth one and nearly 0 for the last. His publisher ought to just have let Adam's continue the Dirk Gently series.

I purchased this same book through the company and now it says I cannot download it because its " not available in this country". I cant even download this one which is the same thing I previously purchased but somehow they say its different. Love the book. Not so thrilled with the company.

Great book but couldnt finish it. Paid for it. Few months later google takes it back. I wouldnt give google anymore of my money. Your investment isnt safe. They will just take it back.

Douglas Adams was born in 1952 and created all the various and contradictory manifestations of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: radio, novels, TV, computer games, stage adaptations, comic book, and bath towel. He was born in Cambridge and lived with his wife and daughter in Islington, London, before moving to Santa Barbara, California, where he died suddenly in 2001.
