I devoured this book. I didn't want to put it down when I had to. It was gripping, wonderfully told and written. There were moments of heart rending sadness, excitement, and the cutest moments ever. Seriously, I was raving about it to friends AS I was reading. I also want to commend the author for how he handled certain subjects. Jac's want of vengeance, as well as her PTSD, Devin's grief, Tommy's exuberance, as well as the just acceptance of homosexuality, and Malik's wise words to Tommy.

I randomly stumbled across this, and it's just great. The story is really good, very original, and I love the characters and their interactions with each other. Very much worth reading. (Later edit): Dammit - no second book in the series. This is one I'd definitely pre-order.
