I liked the first book, this one not so much. Too many confusing beasts and events. I had a hard time to find the "thread" of the story and visulize the story. Also the inconsistency of the magic was lame

Not as interesting as book 1, but still a good read. Once in awhile it drags, but there is so much action one has trouble keeping it all straight.

Really liked the book, but I think the dictionary for all the creatures should have been in front before the story.
