The L.L.Gardens cozy mystery continues. This is book 21 and I can honestly say I am always surprised with the conclusion! Doreen is getting closer to her divorce and her soon to be ex is raising his head. She is starting to have more belief in herself and stand up for herself. Never hurts to have Mugs (dog) Goliath (cat) and Thaddeus (bird)and her friendship, budding romance with Corporal Mack. This series always entertains, always intrigues and delivers a HEA. Another fun read from this series, the cold case is about greed that may or may not connected to a gang. It piqued my interest from the get go, and this one is a pretty solid case, even though Matthew's appearances kinda disturbing and weird and I don't get it, it's still a great cozy mystery read though. But what I love the most in this book is the relationship between Mack and Doreen, they're getting closer and closer each day, I just want them to be together forever.

Doreen and Mack are walking around the Kelowna cemetery after Annabelle's funeral. They are at a mausoleum when Doreen spots a cracked tile and so the story begins. This latest book in the Lovely Lethal Gardens series includes action and plenty of romance and love, both two and four-legged, ending with a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
