Wow! What a wild, crazy ride of twists and turns, danger and excitement. All wrapped in one sizzling hot romance. Sarah was steeped in mystery. I kept trying to figure out what her secret was, but she had more than just one so I was constantly searching. She was a multi dimensional character and I was totally consumed with her story. For a human, she was more than capable of keeping up with the bad boy wolf, Lucas. If Sarah kept me guessing, that was nothing compared to the jumble of emotions I experienced with Lucas. As the alpha wolf, with savagely rough edges and one that lived by the law of the wolf with no consideration for extenuating circumstances, he had me quite anxious a time or two. Of course that just made it all the better when we ran into one of the twists and he reacted in a way I didn’t expect. This was written in a way that I wasn’t certain what this hero and heroine were going to do, or what exactly their past held. Watching it all unfold in the midst of one extreme situation to the next had me on the edge of my seat. I’m already in love with this world as well as the characters that have been introduced. Lots of potential for high excitement, danger, and romance.
