Usually reading his novels is like watching a beautiful ballroom full of graceful dancers. This novel was like a couple of normal dancers crowding in amongst them. Me, I can't dance. But I can see the difference and although the story line was enjoyable, the way it sounded wasn't what I expected. Love Cabrillo and his gang though!

Absolutely the worst "Oregon Files" book I've read. Sorely lacking in character development and missing much detail of later episodes. Not worth the price. Ought to be deeply discounted on Google play. Don't waste your money.

A winner as usual. Just a little too many characters and discombobulations to keep track of.

About the author

Clive Cussler is the author of more than fifty books in five bestselling series, including Dirk Pitt, NUMA Files, Oregon Files, Isaac Bell, and Fargo. His life nearly parallels that of his hero Dirk Pitt. Whether searching for lost aircraft or leading expeditions to find famous shipwrecks, he and his NUMA crew of volunteers have discovered more than seventy-five lost ships of historic significance, including the long-lost Confederate submarine Hunley, which was raised in 2000 with much press publicity.
