About this ebook

The fates of a warrior reborn and a seductive Dragonseeker are irrevocably entwined in this thrilling Carpathian novel by #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.

Zev Hunter was an elite warrior, a dark-blood dealer of death to Lycans who preyed on mankind. But he begins to question his past when he awakens in the sacred cave of warriors—and is soothed back to consciousness by the sensuously familiar voice of the woman who has haunted his fantasies for centuries: Branislava, member of the Dragonseeker clan.

Now, with a blood-sworn vow of honor, mercy and endurance, and under the influence of a siren as bewitching as Branislava, Zev begins to wonder what his purpose is, what it means for the future of the Carpathians and what it is about his rebirth that he has to fear...

I've read this entire series. This was just okay & no way near my expectations. I did like the fact that all of the carpathians came together and briefly spent time with one another. I also like the fact that the author is picking up the series exactly where the previous book left off. I think the book should have been titled Dark Dragon instead of Dark Blood because this book was more about Branislava, member of the Dragonseeker clan than Zev who is dark blood. The creation of the language is overtaking this series, I'd much rather read about the characters then about a language I will never use nor be able to pronounce. There was also the additional of demons which I am not interested in reading about and not a single regular/master vampire was even in the book so I wonder if this series will ever be about one of the main plots that it initially was about (which was what drew me to read them in the first place)....lifemates for the carpathian men.... I gave it 3 stars only because though I didn't like this book I have enjoyed so many of the others in this series and hope that this series will soon get back on track.

I happened upon the Dark series by accident a few months ago. I was looking for something to read at Walmart & saw Dark Wolf. I bought it read it fairly quickly & feel in love with the characters. I didn't realize at the time it was such an extensive series until 2 weeks ago again, found myself at Walmart & saw Dark Blood. After finishing it I decided to look the series up on here & have now started at the beginning. I absolutely love the characters & the plots. Please keep them coming. :)

With the help of the siren, Branislava, Zev will have to discocver what his purpose is, what it means for the future of the Carpathians and the Lycans and what is it is about his rebirth he has to fear as they face a new threat in this exciting paranormal romance. More of the Carpathian’s past comes to light and they learn more about their enemies and realize that the threat from the mages is still very real. Excitement builds with each battle fought and they try to save who they can from the evil that threatens them all. And of course, blind ignorance of people set in their ways and refusing to see what right in their face causes quite a bit of drama and the final battle…for now, was a thrilling magical battle that rocks the foundations of both worlds. The Dark world has just gotten more complicated and exciting and introduces new characters to join the beloved Carpathians. See my full review at: Paranormal Haven .com
