I have read every book in this series many times and this one disappointed me. First, why was Gabrielle in a abusive relationship and getting her hair pulled if she wasn't on point fast enough? Secondly, why do I finally get an African American hero only to find out she had a baby in her teens and never went to school? We cant be educated? No one else in this series was a mother as a teen. Nope. Idk what happened to this book but I hope Christine comes back to write the next one. Even Gregory was like wtf?

I absolutely love the DARK series. I have read every one. All the novels go so deep into the story of the characters I find I love them all. This novel too has warmed it's way into my heart. Looking forward to the next story regarding Gary, as he has been a loved character that had been in almost all of the stories, and I can't wait to see what great things come to fruition in this next novel.

From the reviews I read about this book. I'm not even going to bother buying. Abuse is not my kind of thing. I think it's time to put the series to bed. The last book I read "spider web" was a disappointment. Not sure what's going on with Christine. I guess it's time to find other authors.
