These issues have great pacing, ratcheting up the drama for the big Dark Phoenix Saga, raising real questions, introducing multiple new team members who are still with us today, and still finding time to have big action scenes. Byrne finds something new and cool every issue, while Claremont delivers heartfelt dialogue and one of the best "good girl goes bad" stories anywhere. His trademark overwrought descriptions are tonally appropriate here, discussing cosmic power and teenage rebellion. Don't miss it!
