About the author

CANDICE RANSOM, who has never wanted to be anything besides a children's book writer, has published 110 award-winning books for children and young adults. She teaches in the children's literature program at Hollins University. Candice lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with her husband and her cat, Atticus.

MIKE YAMADA is the illustrator of Go, Go, Trucks! and Go, Go, Cars!. His bakcground encompasses film, animated movies, games, and themed spaces. He is Production Designer at Walt Disney Animation and the illustrator of several children's books. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his cat. In his spare time, he enjoys the challenge of brewing the perfect cup of coffee, reading, and writing about himself in the third person.
