About this audiobook

Waiting is hard! Celebrate Hanukkah--and learn the meaning behind the holiday--with this new edition of a Step 2 reader, adapted for audio!

"Is it Hanukkah yet?"
"Not yet. We have to wait for the sun to set!"

Families who celebrate Hanukkah will recognize the familiar anticipation of the little girl in this story. And what better way to make the wait go faster than to read this sweet family story. Kids will recognize their favorite songs, games, and traditions in this early reader that captures the joy and warmth of the Festival of Lights.

Step 2 readers use basic vocabulary and short sentences to tell simple stories. They are perfect for children who recognize familiar words and can sound out new words with help.

MONIQUE DONG has always been drawn to illustration. At the age of 19 she headed off to Cape Town, South Africa, where she studied animation at City Varsity. She then began work at one of South Africa's only animation companies at the time, Clockwork Zoo, and animated for Disney Channel's "Florrie's Dragons." She married her now husband in 2011 and shortly thereafter moved to China, where they live now.
