Richard Vaughn
I'm excited to be the first review. Now onto the substance! As always, another beautiful book to add to the series. Brandon Varnell's masterful story telling has me hooked through the entirety of this book. If you are nervous don't be. Spoilers past this point. This book of the series is much slower than what I remember from the previous books, but don't fear. It's packed full of juicy info, and really seals up the "lin's home" plot line, and we finally get a bit of the forbidden fruit that is Queen Medusa. Also you really feel the Arabian night's vibe from this book, with all the middle eastern food, down to the clothes. It's almost like your standing there watching Eryk pass you by on the street, like an Ethereal being watching his creations move throughout the world. One thing I can be happiest about is that you get all of the detail without 27 pages of how a room looks.....cool. One interesting thing I can't wait for is, how will this story tackle the inevitable darker turn.

Now we're at Volume 16 of WIEDERGEBURT. The writing didn't feel slow, it was moderately paced. I couldn't ask for more than this. As long as the story is written well, the sentences and the dialogues, this is already a great Story.
