I enjoyed reading this story especially because it's very different from the ones usually written by Ms. Pierce. There's mystery, suspense, and horror, everything linked to stories related to a small Scottish island! Finn and Amelia work well together and there's a possibility of something else developing between them, but there's also Demi, Finn's ex-fiancée, and the lawsuit that keeps on hanging on his head. The story ends on a cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to learning what will happen.

everything you expect from Blake Pierce. adventure, suspense, and a bit of angst from the fbi agent trying to find his way out of trouble. I was enthralled.
