Silent Scream is a good and entertaining story that is easy to read. Sheila sees herself involved in a world that is beyond her comprehension as palm and tarot readings, and she is deeply confident that the killer they are seeking is among them. The case gives her solace while working her own feelings of loss. I thank Ms. Pierce for this ARC.

After finding her sister, Natalie, dead, Shelia works hard to finish her training and goes to work as a detective at the Sheriff's office. She & Finn investigate two murders where the women have been killed & tarot cards left at the scenes. Both of them are having trouble with Natalie's death. I am really enjoying this series.
