Yet another brilliant Riley Paige thriller. I never liked Halloween and now I know why. As the bodies add up the rush to prevent new ones gets more vital. This killer must be stopped. I love the Blake Pierce writing style. His writing just makes the characters jump out at you and seem so real. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

ONCE CHOSEN is book seventeen in the Riley Paige mystery series and is an interesting thriller with great characters and an engaging storyline. So I've read this series from the very beginning and I mostly have all good things to say about this book. The storyline itself was actually one of my favorites, and I as always, love the characters. If I'm being critical, I would have liked to see just a little more character development on riley's part (the whole bit with the new partner was eh) and unless blake is going to make a follow up spinoff series, I think that introducing a new partner was a mistake. Also, weve been waiting 17 books for a certain pairing to happen...and then we get like what....5 pages of it? This book was fantastic and absolutely better than book 16 by miles! As always, love RP!
