Ratings and reviews

Just like the last 2 books, a lot of development and some unnecessary parts. How many times do the events in the 1st and 2nd books need to be repeated? I can probably skip the 4th and read the 5th book and find out exactly what happened in the series. It like watch a bad soap opera drama where it takes so long for the story to develop, you can miss an entire month and still figure where the story is and the ending is completed in a flash and rush. The payoff is not becoming worth reading the books.

I enjoy the Riley Paige series, I like the characters but I'm not a huge fan of the writing. It's very repetitive the line "knitted their forehead" was used so often it became like a running joke in my mind. And it really puts me off the books, however I will be buying the 4th book and I do like the series overall, I love serial killer stuff, I just find it interesting how minds work, and these books too type into that, with chapters written from the killers perspective. Overall a solid book, worth a read

I was seriously hoping this would have been the best one, but I was left utterly disappointed. The actual story didn't seem to be start until I got into the 20th chapter. I felt like it was one of my mother's old soap operas. Lots of unnecessary drama compared to the first two. Gave three stars because once the actual book started it was pretty good.
