Wow, she is too good. With her presence and sharp mind, she found the killer and captured him by risking herself while saving the victim. May Moore is amazing.

Deputy Sheriff May Moore is called to investigate the third murder since her promotion to deputy. The two victims are high school girls. All the usual suspects are questioned and a suspect is in custody, when May realizes all is not what is seems. Meanwhile, Owen’s secret crush on May grows. I love these two characters and have high hopes for them.

An excellent story, where the crimes perpetrated are horrific, the culprit is believable and his reasons are related to a really sick mind. May, however, seems to be less negatively self-conscious and is opening her mind to other sorts of thoughts about life, her reasons for having her job, and to make fewer comparisons with her sister. She finally realized that not even her sister is perfect! I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
