This is the best book of the series that I have read so far. The characters are multifaceted and the story was well written. The mystery was almost secondary to the protagonist angst. Adele is dealing from the murder of her mentor, Robert and questions her instincts in her first case upon her return from bereavement leave. Left to Vanish is the eighth book in the Adele Sharp Mystery series. This is a gripping thriller with Adele Sharp being a strong, intelligent character. This story is fast-paced and action-packed, with multiple murders, drama, danger, and suspense. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

Adele is mourning the loss of her mentor and it is imparing her abilities to do her job properly. The story is fast-paced, has lots of action, shows Adele´s and her co-worker´s feelings towards her and her capacity as a crime solver. She now is focused on solving the most difficult case of her life - finding the assassin of her mother and her mentor. She wants those she loves to be away from her, but will they? Will she be able to regroup her feelings and actions and find the culprit? I´m really looking forwardto reading the next book in the series. If you enjoy fast-paced stories, a bit of drama and an agent who seems to be like an ordinary but strong willed woman, you should not miss downloading this book!
