Forlorn is entertaining and has a good plot, however, as I mentioned in the review of the previous book in the series, the story could be shorter if it were not for the many repetitions of Morgan's doubts about trust, romance, friendship, her need to ascertain her place in the FBI and to live with all the good and bad memories of her 10 years in prison. There are good developments about her father's past and what it means to her life, let's see what the next book will bring.

Morgan meets with Thomas to get Skunk back as well as information about her father. Then she and Simon begin trying to find a killer who strangles women and leaves them at historical places in the city. They just need to find the common links between the women before more are murdered. Good plot. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I almost couldn't finish it. I could hardly take one more mention of those tattoos. It ruined the book for me.
