About this ebook

Readers around the world have thrilled to Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus--riveting works of nonfiction that journey into the heart of the most famous murders in history.

Now from Bill O'Reilly, iconic anchor of The O'Reilly Factor, comes the most epic book of all in this multimillion-selling series: Killing Patton.

General George S. Patton, Jr. died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost seventy years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident--and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton takes readers inside the final year of the war and recounts the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

The book was detailed perfectly. It gave the facts on how the war was won. Some we all already knew, quite a bit we didnt. A great tribute to Patton his family and what it takes to win. I wonder if we as a country realize the price we paid and if we had to do it again would we have the leaders that would ignore the political risks and just get it done. That will be all.....

A poor attempt and rag tag approach at WW2 history with Patton anecdotes thrown in. The time line jumps around and it reads of "filler" with a little history thrown in. Maps are a waste of space and after the first three, I ignored them. Sorry, but this one's a snoozer. Glad I borrowed it and did not pay $$.

As a staunch liberal, you and I are natural enemies. To be honest when I picked up "Killing Patton," it was out of dread fascination and, admittedly, a modicum of respect for you as you are, unarguably, a big player in our nation. "What the hell," I said to myself, "It'll be amusing, at least." Much to my surprise, I found myself enjoying the story almost immediately. One of the most humbling things I've ever done is to give praise to the infamous Factor that is Bill O'Reilly. It was a good read.
