About this ebook

A riveting historical narrative of the shocking events surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the follow-up to mega-bestselling author Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln.

The basis for the 2013 television movie of the same name starring Rob Lowe as JFK.

More than a million readers have thrilled to Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln, the page-turning work of nonfiction about the shocking assassination that changed the course of American history. Now the iconic anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts in gripping detail the brutal murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy—and how a sequence of gunshots on a Dallas afternoon not only killed a beloved president but also sent the nation into the cataclysmic division of the Vietnam War and its culture-changing aftermath.

In January 1961, as the Cold War escalates, John F. Kennedy struggles to contain the growth of Communism while he learns the hardships, solitude, and temptations of what it means to be president of the United States. Along the way he acquires a number of formidable enemies, among them Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, and Allen Dulles, director of the Central Intelligence Agency. In addition, powerful elements of organized crime have begun to talk about targeting the president and his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

In the midst of a 1963 campaign trip to Texas, Kennedy is gunned down by an erratic young drifter named Lee Harvey Oswald. The former Marine Corps sharpshooter escapes the scene, only to be caught and shot dead while in police custody.

The events leading up to the most notorious crime of the twentieth century are almost as shocking as the assassination itself. Killing Kennedy chronicles both the heroism and deceit of Camelot, bringing history to life in ways that will profoundly move the reader.

A trite regurgitation of the same nonsensical assassination propaganda we've heard for years. With vanity being his strongest suit, the self-promoting O'Reilly wastes no time hawking his previous book with a 3rd grade, schoolboy, straight-off-the-internet Lincoln/Kennedy comparison. O'Reilly knows his audience though. The book is specifically written for non-reading FoxNews viewers. If you are truly interested in the Assassination of President Kennedy, read 'Family of Secrets' by Russ Baker.

This is for the 3 communist reviews right below me, why are you writinga review when you havent even read the book, but i forgot that's how the new communist party works these days. I was just looking at the book because i like Bills show and i have read his books before so im scrolling thru looking at what the books about and what do i see. People who are attacking Book not the book, how ridiculous. You attack everyone who does not think like you do. Why would you even mention your communist leader Obama he has nothing to do with this book, or is that what George Soros does, he sends his communist cronies out everywhere to attack people that don't agree with his world communist vision.

Once again a writer failes to delve into the NAZI and White Russian contacts of Oswald, such as micheal and Ruth Pain, and George DeMorchild. Further, an examination of the Waren Commision testimony and associated corrospondence of its members would reveal a concerted effort of the government to deceive the pobulic throuh the manipulation of the press and supression and destruction of evidence. See the writings and audio of Mae Brussel for a cohearent and thourough examination of the oss cia and Nazi connections to not only jfk, but of the assassination of rfk, mlk, and john lennon..
