First off from someone that does not look like a Native American, I fully felt a lot like Evie in To Catch a Dream in some way. Most of my life people never would have thought that I am Native American when I truly am. I am Creek and Cherokee Indian. I am Creek from my mother side of the family and Cherokee from what I call my donor. Now for my honest review! This author brings out the best and worst in you. I mean this in the best way possible. I love Audrey for always stepping outside of the box. For always being so open to different cultures and different races. To Catch a Dream was truly a dream that I am sure most of us have dreamed and made many wishes in our lives. Evie and Milo blow my mind. I am not a straight woman but Milo's dominant personality could kind of make a girl go straight. Just kidding this book was life, I did not want to put it down. It even took me a minute to read it as this was the slowest I have ever read a book because I didn’t want to put it down nor for it to end so soon. What this story does is make you love harder. Feel more, learn to live and let go. Learn to live freely without fear. Trusting in the unknown makes you stop feeling like you have to be 100% in control of everything in our lives. Evie was put in a place to grow up a lot faster than she needed to. Evie was a love child, that developed a love so deep that it scared her. Once she saw that, that one true love was standing right in front of her she had no choice but to walk into it with the strength of Milo. Milo is a man with a plan, so strong, determined, hard to let go when he wants something. He is a man that when he feels and sees the right thing right in front of him he will do any and everything in his life to make it happen so that he can keep it. I cried a few times because I was that girl that lost a mother at a very young age after feeling like she spent most of her time away from me. But in the end I had to learn that my mother had to live her life so different from mine because it was what made her happy. I loved everything about this book and I want more. I am a selfish reader, when you pull me in I need more than what I am given. I encourage every single human to stop and read this book. I will testify that it is a top rated book with someone's love, compassion, wishes, surprises, determination, loss, pain and the will to live freely. The surprise at that end once another loss comes will bring more happiness. I love how these two sisters love, I love how they can be open with their true feelings and walk in forgiveness. Once again love wins in my book. To Catch a Dream we all need a Dream and those that come true. Thank you Audrey Carlan for another great story.

Evie has always been the responsible sister. She's stable, grounded and competent. After her wayward sister comes back to town, Evie must learn how to actually enjoy her own life. When she runs into her childhood crush Milo, she realizes that she needs more in her life. Milo is perfect for Evie because he will put her first. No one has ever done that for Evie and she has a hard time trusting him. I loved the calm, accepting nature of Milo. He's a man who knows what he wants and is determined to get it. I can't wait for the next book in this series because this one has a big surprise at the end!

This story is sensational and will have you wanting to wish on your very own star so all your dreams come true. Evie is such a beautiful soul who puts those she loves before herself. All she needs in life is for someone to love her completely and never leave or let her go. Unfortunately, people have left Evie her whole life, so it has broken her in ways she has to learn and heal from. Until she meets her perfect match in Milo. He is steadfast and wise and never wastes time on words or emotions if he doesn’t mean them. You need to read this book for the bluff, the wishes, the letters, and the reservation alone. This story captivated me from start to finish because I felt Evie was an extension of my heart, as I too put everyone I love before myself. To Catch A Dream has carved out a special place in my heart as it reminds me that when you find your person, they will love you enough to stay!!! Tracey, Life Reads With Friends
