Good stories, bad narrators. I guess I should have expected this based on the price, but the narration was almost unbearable at times. The first several readers are good - which pleasantly surprised me - but then the first female narrator begins and she is just awful. She has little inflection to her voice and often smacks her lips while reading. The quality of the recording noticeably drops as well. The next two readers were also bad - each of them read multiple stories in a row. A story would end and I would hope a new narrator would start but then the same voice would begin. I stopped after listening to about 8 hours. There are other horror collection on here with talented narrators. They'll cost a little more but they'll do these stories justice.

Absolutely dreadful, the narrator was bland and depressing. The book is poorly structured. The narrator does announce chapters however, I feel the chapters run together. I love audiobooks and horror but, this one doesn't keep my interest while listening. I regret the purchase of this book.

There are many distinct narration voices in this audiobook. The sound quality and the volume are also different in most tales (some voices are loud and clear while others are muffled). I've heard better ones...
