Michael E. Porter is the Bishop William Lawrence University Professor at Harvard Business School. He was named a University Professor by Harvard's president in 2000. W. Chan Kim is the Boston Consulting Group Bruce D. Henderson Chair Professor of Strategy and International Management at INSEAD business school and codirector of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute. Kim is coauthor, with Renee Mauborgne, of the bestselling books Blue Ocean Strategy and Blue Ocean Shift.

Renee Mauborgne is the INSEAD Distinguished Fellow and a professor of strategy at INSEAD, one of the world's top business schools. She is also codirector of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute. She cofounded the Blue Ocean Global Network with W. Chan Kim.
