the leap from science to morality becomes a vanishingly small step when considered from Harris's point of view. It's such a well crafted argument that hearing it doesn't feel like an incredible revelation, but rather more like someone has pointed out an obvious fact of life that you have always known but never thought to put so clearly into words.
