Great prequel story, to discover the wonderful and action packed world of Ena. What Ena must do in order to survive and for what’s to come. I loved the foreshadowing at the end. I very much enjoyed listening to the audiobook. The narrator is fabulous and I could feel the emotions come through the speakers. I love getting lost in this world and I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading YA fantasy reads.

This glimpse into Ena’s life from before perfectly showcased the type of person we know she is capable of becoming. Strong, stubborn and intelligent. The narration was perfect.
