About this audiobook

Ena never hoped for a peaceful life. She never dreamt she’d become a killer either.

Ilbrea: A country mercilessly ruled by the seven Guilds where commoners struggle to survive—no one knows the cost of survival better than illegal healer Ena Ryeland. Ena is offered a life of freedom and a chance to fight the Guilds. But she can’t win the battle alone...

A myth to guide her journey.

A brother she thought she’d lost.

A ghost to steal her fear.

A man to steal her heart.

An impossible enemy. A hope for freedom. Ena is the only one with a chance of fighting the Guilds—if she can survive long enough to try.

Ena of Ilbrea: The Four Book Saga includes Ember and Stone, Mountain and Ash, Ice and Sky, and Feather and Flame.

I really enjoyed this box set. As the series progresses, the series continues to get better and better. The pace is average, but I really enjoyed the journey that Ena and Finn were completing. Ena’s character is very likable and I couldn’t help myself but root for her. I really enjoyed the narrator, Alexandra Hunter. She did a wonderful job portraying Ena and the secondary characters. If you enjoy reading fantasy and with a strong female character, then I highly recommend this series.

This entire series was amazing! Each book was better than the last. The world building in the series just keeps getting better. Although it didn’t have a ton of action, it made up for it with the banter between Ena and Finn. I adored Finn’s and Ena’s relationship. By far my favorite! The series picks up the further you read and there’s quite a bit of action as the clan fights to find the traitor within their ranks. The betrayal I felt in the end was purely gut wrenching. In the end the blood will flow, the world will burn, and no enemy will be left standing.
