About this audiobook

A brand new contemporary romance from New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans.

He’s my most delicious secret.
The hot Suit I had a one-night stand with one evening.
I didn’t know anything about him, not even his name.
Only that we shared a taxi, and he was staying at the hotel where I worked.
We met in room 1103. Where he commanded not only my body but my soul.
The next day he was gone and I only had a memory of him.
I could still taste his kisses, feel his demanding touch.
I searched for him for months. Daydreaming about him. Wondering if I’d ever find him.
Until the day I find myself staring face to face with his jeweled black eyes again.
He says let's keep it casual, and my heart knows that falling for this workaholic in a three-thousand-dollar suit is off the table.
Because he has a secret. One that’s a deal breaker for me.
My Suit has a name.
Ian Ford.
And this is our story.

*Mogul contains characters from Tycoon, but is written as a standalone.

AudioBook Review Stars: Overall 5 Narration 5 Story 5 A one-night stand story that unfolds into obsession, craving and unearthing of deepest secrets, Sara and Ian’s story is a clash of desire crashing into potential. Told in dual points of view, we see Sara’s struggles with a life that hasn’t turned out quite the way she envisioned, and Ian’s rather cynical view of relationships and single-minded focus on work play out in ways unexpected. Sara is a concierge at an upscale Manhattan hotel, late-ish for work, she flags a cab and after a bit of wrangling, finds herself sharing the ride with the sexiest man in a suit she’s ever seen. Expecting this to be a quick cab ride and nothing more, the two take off to continue their day. A series of unexpected events led Sara to the job she needs to survive, rather than her dream job of appearing on Broadway, add an injury and just simple struggle to survive, and she’s been sidetracked from her dreams. Ian is a force to be reckoned with – a Hollywood mogul, he’s produced blockbuster films, owns two production companies, and is always thinking of the next project. He’s intrigued by the girl he shared a cab ride with, but he has his limits and what he will offer of himself to a woman – and tonight is what’s on offer. One hot night filled with every fantasy imaginable, Sara and Ian have an unforgettable night which will have them both in places neither expected. Sara loses her job, and has to make do with any and everything she can: not surprisingly her time and encounters with Ian are not yet complete. Good thing, because she cannot get the memory of the night out of her head. Sexy, steamy and wholly engaging, what started as a simple (if incredibly hot) night becomes so much more as Ian and Sara find that they fill a need neither knew they had. Super-hot, emotionally far more present than one might expect, Ian and Sara find themselves in a tangle that involves far more than the sheets. Narration for this story is provided by Grace Grant and Sebastian York, a favorite duo of mine. Grant’s ability to present the longing, confusion and hope in Sara provides a clear and present contrast to Ian’s rather ‘businesslike’ approach to all things emotional, all things in fact, and York’s presentation of his rather buttoned-up boardroom, darkly sensual alpha in the bedroom come through clearly, helping the listener access the emotions of the moment while still clearly finding a sense of the man and the relationship to come. Like all of Katy Evans’ titles, this is a hot, happy and surprisingly emotional story, this one being seriously low-angst, without leaving the tale flat and without drama. Ian and Sara have plenty of steam between them, and their connection is clear and present, without overwhelming listeners with unneeded drama – this is romance for the modern day: hot, quick, palpable and sure to make you smile. I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Simon and Schuster AudioBooks for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
