Have enjoyed all the Blake Pierce books I have listened to and would recommend them to others. So far I have listened to The Riley Paige, Jessie Hunt, Mackenzie White, Chloe Fine, Adele Sharp, Kate Wise and Cassie Vale stories The only down side is they are all very similar. Most have female hero's who have parenting issues and some serial killer out to get them. Still worth a listen

The plots were nice and the reader did a good job in grasping my attention. I finished listening to this in two days time. What else is that the protagonists are self - engrossed. They don't want to wait for backup to arrive or even their partners. They believe they can handle everything on their own. Alongside, the end is always plain, with the protagonist killing the criminal and then laying unconscious until help comes. It's like both of the stories follow the same structure and build-up. The protagonist is in a state of turmoil because of her past incidents. Then she assigned a case. She goes over and over again but finds no clues. Along halfway or a little post it, someone claimes to find the murderer but turns out wrong. The protagonist then seeks help from someone, and she finds a person whom they assume to be the killer. But no he's not. She again searches (not exactly searches) gets to the criminal alone, kills him and lays unconscious. That's how both the plots go.

I recently discovered the books from Blake Peirce, and I'll be totally honest I'm totally hooked, I have found his books amazing and I'm sure this one will be the same! can't wait to get started
