If you haven't read the first Abby Jimenez book then do so before reading this one. I loved this book as it gave Sloan a second chance at love. It's rare you a book that reflects what's it like for widows so well. The story is heartfelt, funny and sad at times but there is so much hope weaved in. I loved Sloan from Book 1 and to have this be her story was just joyful. Plus each song referenced in this book is the perfect accompaniment for each chapter. I played each song before listening to the chapters so it could set the scenes. I now have a playlist from this book. Abby Jimenez you did it again. I can't wait to read the 3rd book where the character was introduced in this book. Bravo!!
