Lenore Kosinski
2.5 stars — I’m so glad that this book was not my first book by this author, because I probably would have never gotten back to her. The thing is, her writing is actually really solid. There were so many fun moments between Josh and Kristen. But wow, the things that disappointed me were numerous and violent in the feelings they inspired. First things first, why is it not mentioned ANYWHERE in the blurb that the heroine has a freaking BOYFRIEND. And is it for a short period? Nope. Honestly

The dynamics between the two continuing not to get together became redundant. For being "soulmates", they each made continued assumptions contradictory to that. Enjoyed otherwise.

Audiobook: Excellent narration by Erin and Teddy. Their intonations perfectly fit with the wonderfully, sometimes complex, often zany characters. It's not all roses. There will be tears. This is life in all of its messiness, heartache, and wonderful triumph. Highly recommend. (A standalone but great to read this one first before the Happily Ever After Playlist)
