Share your location information via email, with an optional Photo or Gallery Picture.*

Set a Template / Customise the Email Subject and Intro Text for future use.

Location information can also be sent via Text Message or Tweet.*

GB Grid Ref Worker - Your Professional GPS Grid Reference Finder App!

App will operate internationally, but the "Grid Reference" information is intended for use in Great Britain, using Ordnance Survey / OS Maps. App includes a graphical guide to the OS National Grid.

For best results, use in a flat position, not an upright position. Much like a traditional compass. Use in an open space, where possible, away from trees, buildings and sources of interference.

The screen can, optionally, be set to stay on, for continued on-screen display of Grid Reference information.

Compatible with handsets that feature GPS and Compass hardware. You may have to grant the app permission to use this information.

* - Internet Connection, and correctly configured Text Messaging, Email app, required to fulfil. Tweet Functionality will either use the official Twitter App (if installed), or proceed to Twitter.com in your web browser.

Ratings and reviews

Easy to use, setup can alter preloaded title and intro text, photo added without switching to camera. But photo has lots of spaced zeros in title probably software not complete in this area. As filename the same mail reader will only process first photo and the photos are not recorded on phone this is a serious fault. Text of fixed format message is verbose could do with options on which values are sent.

Appears to work outside giving a grid reference, sadly won't reference it on a photo, which is what I wanted it for, but just enters zeros. Maybe my Android is too new, which I now see from reviews of a previous version may be a problem? Useful if you get lost and need to check where you are on a map I guess.

Used to work really well, but now the grid reference no longer appears alongside the photo when emailed which defeats the point of the app. Sadly this is the most useful feature. Very disappointed.
