I got a new phone Dec 2023. And ever since then, the app will no longer work. "It is not rooted device" shows up every time I open this app. When I try to sign on, it looks like it will work and then just shuts down. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that didn't do anything. My bro (a developer) told me "Rooted devices are unlocking the bootloader. It's not something regular users do. I don't know why any app installed off of Google Play would ask for root to work." Someone fix it!

Registration leaves a lot to be desired. There are multiple screens to go through, and if I switched to another app (e.g. my password manager) in the middle of the process, I had to start the whole process over again. In addition, the login credentials are different from the Mercer Marketplace website, including shorter maximum lengths for both user name and password. 3 stars at the moment just because I haven't tried the app and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Needs work. I had to call Mercer 7 or 8 times last year. Now I see the same is happening again for the upcoming year. I input information such as start and stop dates for claims. It doesn't capture what I enter. Claims are denied because it's not captured in their system. Reps want to insult by telling me I didn't enter correctly. I've been working IT since the 80s.
