Enjoy the most complete messaging app on Android. You get all the modern messaging features you're used to, plus unique ones like folders and full customization. Everything is free and you can even save money on your monthly bill from your mobile operator.

Our app is an upgrade to the default SMS texting app that came with your phone. In addition to basic texting (SMS/MMS), you can message other users secure end-to-end encrypted data messaging similar to how iMessage works on iPhones (green vs. blue bubble).

If the number you’re texting is connected to the internet and also a user of an app in our partner network, messages will be sent and received as RCS or Rich Communication Services. RCS is the upgrade to SMS which allows sending large videos, higher quality pictures and GIFs to other app users using WiFi or internet data. In addition, our RCS is end-to-end encrypted, making your conversations with other users completely secure.

When you engage with ads in our app, you can earn credits which can be used to redeem for additional airtime with your mobile operator. In addition, we offer an optional community and AI to match you with services and product that you’re looking for, potentially saving on your mobile bill and even enabling you to earn extra money!

THE STREAM: Once enabled, there is a “stream” attached to each conversation. The stream combines the best of social media and the internet, where you are given recommendations for content, answers and information related to your conversation, but in a separate screen so it’s not annoying. Just swipe left to access it.

Want to rent your apartment, sell some of your things or have spare time to teach or earn extra cash? Why just ask your friends and family? Open it up to our user network via campaigns. When others text about something that matches your campaign, they could see your campaign in their stream.

Create a campaign just by tapping the “ask others” option in your message. Or go to the “Campaign” tab and tap the “+” sign in the bottom right corner. When you engage with campaigns, you're rewarded with credits that can be used to add data from your mobile service plan. No personal information is collected by us aside from your telephone number, which is needed for user authentication and to send/receive messages.

Our app is compatible with MightyText, Pushbullet and mySMS for desktop and web access (our own desktop version is coming soon). Our app syncs with any Android smartwatch, watch or wearable.

Our two apps, Messages Improved and Mei, are clones sharing many of the same features. Mei has more of a focus on personal relationships and exchanging ideas/opinions. Messages Improved has more of a commercial focus, where we can experiment with ads and connecting users with products and services they want.

Ratings and reviews

This app has a lot of bugs. When i tap on a thread, it takes a second for the thread to load. When i get a notification, when i tap it, the app doesn't open that conversation. It opens the last i looked at. Don't have full control of colors. In group conversations, the names of the individuals speaking is not shown so I don't know who's speaking. And I'm doing see a conversation I just had yesterday when I was using a different sms app.

Mei was fairly stable. It was buggy but not like this. This is super SUPER buggy. I can send messages. Getting them is the issue. Can't send MMS messages, it's just buggy. Once I can use it solidly again I'll change my rating. But as of RIGHT NOW. this is very alpha. It does work if it's the only app I open. Until I open anything else.

This app could be so good but it's super glitchy. Don't even waste your time until they actually fix these things, if they ever do. I paid premium and they just don't care enough about their app, wish I didn't waste my money. Avatars don't show up half the time, if you save a draft, you'll never know it because it doesn't stay at the top of the list and it doesn't say draft next to the thread. Plus every time you open the app and open a thread, it flashes and glitches. Straight amateur
