COUNT CARBS & TRACK ACTIVITY

Any diabetic knows how challenging it can be to keep track of carbohydrate intake. Dario does the math for you. Simply tag which foods you ate, and Dario will automatically calculate how many carbs that gave you. With time, you may even start spotting patterns between the foods you’ve eaten and your blood glucose results and learn how to choose foods that your body responds to better. Ratings and reviews

Convenient - when you get the hang of it. I've used a dozen meters and at least as many tracking systems over the last 20 years. This one is the absolute winner as far as convenience, and that's a huge step towards proper monitoring and control. I also have a CGM for real-time blood glucose monitoring, but it requires constant calibration with fingers sticks 5 or 6 times a day, and there is no accompanying management system to track exercise, blood pressure, etc. Dario fills this gap.

This app used to be good, but since it was changed and updated about 6 months ago, the app won't connect. I spend way too much time unplugging and plugging the meter back in. The app goes into perpetual "Connecting" mode without ever connecting. Very frustrating!! I've tried 3 different meters and it still does the same thing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times to no avail too. Samsung Galaxy S10+.

This device was convenient because of connectivity and automatic logging, and had reasonably priced strips. After buying few boxes of 100 strips, all far from the expiration date, I got few packets that gave me very high readings. Most lots of strips were perfect but then a few of those lots had bad strips that gave readings that were way off. After playing tag with costumer support for 6 months, they finally tell me that because my phones are not listed as compatible, there is nothing they can do about all the strips I bought that do not work - obviously a way to avoid accountability for bad quality control. In a year and a half, I have gone through about 500 good strips and about 80 bad ones - almost a full box of bad ones... $40 worth. But they don't replace or refund those strips.
