This must be version 0.01! It has a home/away function that doesn't control anything. It has a schedule, but it requires you to do each day separately. And don't even get me started on the whole set up process. Update: So, called their support. They had me reset the app. It still flips from Away to Home without me changing anything. This was the primary reason we got this heater! Still, version 0.01!

I have not been able to test the full range of this system yet and will do so at an update. However that EcoNet thermost leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure it is designed for the techs but the homeowner fails to see why the app on the phone differs from the system. i.e. set point for heat is 67 till 8 am. found the phone reading 65 and thermostat showing 66. It finally got below 35 degrees during the night. Will watch system for some time to see how it pans out.

I never had a more frustrating experience trying to use an app with a device. After many times just struggling to find the unit's wifi signal to an error, it would eventually find it but then struggle connecting. After finding a workaround that allowed me to directly connect to the units wifi, I then was promoted to connect the device to my proper wi-fi which after 10 minutes of sitting and waiting, ran into an error.
