The animation isn't as bombastic as the orginal and the story is too simply for an ova style anime, if the story and characters had more than 6 episodes it could have been decent. But not the best if it wasn't as cilche was it wouldn't be good. Every character is flat with one goal each but no actual character. The animation is only well done in the opening but only then. The setting is also dumb and so are all the side charcters. If i could give it no stars i would. .7/10

Simply put; a work of art that sadly does not have the first season here, you can find it online or on adult swim but before watching this I highly urge that you watch the first season from back in the early 2000s. If you don't then this will in a way spoil it for you, also this is the kind of show that makes you think a little bit to truly understand the story as everything is not what it always seems with this series, I recommend this series but if you want to be mindlessly entertained watch something else. Also this is the kind of series that if you want to understand everything you should rewatch it several times as there are some cryptic easter eggs as some may put them that explain the continuity of the timeline of the show and you'll most likely miss them the first time you watch this series. All in all 9.8/10, good show but it can't exactly beat the series "a certain magical index" or its counterpart, "a certain scientific railgun".

Lacks the things core to the original that made it special. Aside from great music from The Pillows, FLCL A&P are soulless nostalgia bait. If you like the original even slightly don't waste your time or money on this. I'd call the new seasons cash grabs but even that gives it too much credit.
