The highlights here are Dean's Devil dance; I spit my popcorn out of my mouth over that, & Hanks background appearances as Batman. Venture Bros fan will appreciate those, although I would have loved to have seen a Jungle Batman version. It's possible that it's in there & I haven't caught it yet. I didn't catch Dean's encore Devil Dances; that are sliced in for a perfect mockery of Hollywood's cliche'd subliminal effect, until my second viewing, so who knows what all is hiding in there. People that don't like sharp wit, smart writing/character development, and lots of 80's & 90's pop-culture references, probably won't appreciate the Venture Bros. I'm surprised so many younger people like it, but I don't think the majority of today's teens are going to get it. It's not for kids, but even young-adult audiences (14-18) will likely miss the references & smart story-telling devices. I would think it's main fanbase is men 25-45, but there is plenty here for everyone. It's truly brilliant all the way around, & is some of the best material Adult Animation has to offer. Don't take this one special as an example of what the Venture Bros series is tho; this is just a short VH1 Behind the Music mock-up. I would suggest checking out Season's 3 and 4 for the very best material, but anything past the pilot is genius. Go Team Venture!
