So far it's above avg for story, suspense, breaking the current vampire theme in movies and TV. These worm infested maniacs are a really demented premise. The dialogue has kinda been a problem but it's getting much better as of ep 5. I was looking for perfection originally with del Toro behind it. Now and then something really stupid gets thrown in, but less now a days. I think a lot of the char development is tapering down, the disease is spreading and things are about to go off the deep end.

It's not a bad show, well its not good either. Kind of find myself watching it when I have absolutely nothing else to do or watch. It is amusing, interesting...the dialogue though sometimes just doesn't make any rational sense to a rational person. You'll get past it and get a glimmer of hope...then (Usually the chubby assistant) just says something that reverts you right back to your original opinion. Almost as if they wrote it on a plane flying to the set. Half way into the first season and I already want some 'main' characters to just go away already. It really doesn't leave you with anything, but it's worth checking out a few episodes anyway.

This show is is great, the concept is better than I thought it would be. The writing in some scenes could have been better, but overall it's something I'll keep coming back to. I was very pleased to see it wasn't going the way of True Blood or one of the teen vampire lines. Well done and I hope it gets more seasons.
